I heart Sunday, the family day

Did soft rebounding today

Met up with ex-classmates

All the way back to year 2002
Though I've only studied for a mere 5 months or so in that school
We've managed to keep in contact for the past 7 years

Drinks were on Darius

It was truly amazing
Him being talked into it & us being able to talked him into it

Summer Love

Summer has never been better

Was down at Sentosa on Thursday
Stayed for a night

Siloso Beach Resort
Got the rooftop suite
Nice but not a very clean place =(


Removed my gel nails
And had new ones done
Rainbow is love


Dropped by vivo for lunch on my way back from Sentosa
Daiso & found this really neat house building thingy

For $25 it is so much more than what I expected it to be


It comes with some sand thingy
Once it is mixed with water it kinda solidified a little
It seems to be cement but drys way slower


With real solid bricks & a blue print



Just cement and stack up the bricks


Half way thru the first level
It is not as easy as it looks or maybe I'm just a bad builder



BBQ at home on Saturday
Had my cousins over
Supper and prawning with the sisters
It was already like 4am when we reached home


Slept for barely 4 hours & off to Genting



Reached at 4ish on Sunday
Left once we checked out at 12pm the next day

Shopping & massaged in JB
Reached home bout 12ish?



I am amazed at how much I can do in a single weekend

Got it in HongKong


I gave myself a glimpse of hope by telling myself the screen of my
HTC diamond was fine except for the keypad

Only to know that beneath the keypad lies the mother board
Repairing it will cost me as much as a new one

The ever so happening Friday night


Went out at 9ish?


Though we had plans to meet up
Andrew backed up the last minute


So


I had 3 tickets booked online for "Burno"

Me, my bitch & her boyfriend
Its definitely NOT easy going out with a couple

AND to catch a movie with a couple?!
I guess I wasn't in the right mind that day to initiate a movie
And to actually go along with it



Well, in the end Andrew made it down
Managed to buy a ticket that seats with us

Andrew headed home after the movie

Me, my bitch & her boyfriend went to some Thai disco in Golden Mile
For another LONG LOST FRIEND'S birthday

Had a couple of drinks and headed back home

I've just reached home & yet to shower
My lenses are hurting me so badly
Going to wash up & have the sleep I deserved

Being an Indonesian, He had to leave for his home country

Strongly bounded we might be at "that" point of time
Distance soon pulled us apart

Till one fine day
The once your very best friend who had seem to disappear and was long forgotten

Though we had not seen nor talked in the past 2 year or so?
Nothing seems to have changed

On such a short notice to meet up
We both, or me decided on prawning in east coast
Though it was a brief 2 hours session
I'm more than happy =)





We had 2 rods, 2 hours each
But only had 3 pathetic prawns

Thank God I ran into another long lost secondary school friend
Who is nice enough to give me all his prawns, and a comment in FB =)

I seem to be running into a lot of long lost friends lately
Who will I run into next??

Trip to hell

Just when I'm not feeling lazy & in the mood for blogging
Blogger chose to be down
So no photos for now =)

Back from all the holidaying
In the comfort of my own home



Been to Guangzhou, Shen Zhen, Macau & Hong Kong



It has been a one hell of a trip
Swine Flu like symptoms, diarrhea and recurring headaches
Because of these physical pains & the torturous fear of swine positive
I've sunk myself into a depressing state of lethargy


Thank God I managed to pull my sorry ass out
&
Went SHOPPING


Ironically, shopping seems to be the perfect cure to my discomforts
Seeming to shop my discomforts away =)

The astonishing amount of shopping loots I have to lug home and the satisfactions from all the shopping is much better than any antibiotics & painkillers.




And for that, I managed to enjoy the last couple of days
Great Food, Great Company
It was still another memorable & GREAT trip <3

A avid soup lover like me
Deserve to have a hot bowl of soup everyday!

This chain store in HK happens to satisfy my need

It comes in a chilled pack
A microwaveable cup to heat up the soup


3 simple steps
1st- Cut/Tear open the pack
2nd- Pour it into the cup provided
3rd- Heat it up in the microwave

I hope they think about having one in SG & Canada

AND

What else makes HK so good?

But apart from that I still have my other pretty nails

I'm still as obsessed with my purple hair as ever


Some night in REBEL
Its my first time there

Bad experience of taking at least an hour before getting into the VIP area
BUT
Overall, it was a pretty alright night
BUT
Only because of the right company =)


My ladies who never fail to rock my day

Happy Birthday to my dearest mom
Headed over to the Zoo
Pretty much the same, except for a few new stuff


Mom is not coming over anymore
Might consider heading back early
I miss my mom and baby dog already =(

Heart Breaker

Gosh

It had been such a hectic month

I been spending a lot of time on the air plane & traveling
AND
Showing my friend around
AND
Catching up with family and friends

It took me awhile to digest the fact that most things have changed

Though its only been a mere year
My family had changed
SG had changed
Friends had changed

Even my dog had changed
My baby dog is no longer a puppy

10 years
I had him for a full 10 years

Its fur does not shine like before
It not as active and laze around most of its time

Spotted a blue patch in its right eye
I KNOW that it is turning blind
Yet there is nothing I can do about it

15 years its the most it can live
Maybe more if its lucky
But will it be able to make it till I'm back?

It pains me
So much to even admit this fact


10 years ago, I made you part of my life
10 years later, although we are half the world apart, you are still part of my life
In many 10 years to come, you will always be part of my life

A dog is and always will be men most faithful companion

Home sick

Joe girlfriend's birthday

We had Japanese food
One of the best I ever had in Toronto


Joe is definitely a good boyfriend

Not only did he made reservations for a private room

He had arranged a "menu" including sake and beer
So that we did not have to go through the hassle of ordering

Best thing? Dinner was on him =)



AND

He got the staff to take the "real" cake out

THEN

The staff there took out another cake box
Saying that it was a cake he made

But in it was actually a Louis Vuitton wallet he bought

Ain't he sweetest??

It was a last min thingy
Decided on another short getaway

Flew over to Hong Kong on Thursday night
Heading over to Guangzhou first thing in the morning

Gonna go look for Amy for a couple of days

Meeting up with parents in Hong Kong then back to SG

A well spent summer vacation it is =)

Macau

Was it Monday or Tuesday?

It was seriously a last min decision to go Macau to meet up with an old friend of mine

Even when it was already late afternoon

I took my own sweet time to shower and finish my movie before heading out

Brand new clothes from head to toe
=)


It rained the first couple of days when I was in HK
Thank God the weather wasn't that bad when we were in Macau


The ferry ride there was so freakishly bumpy
I was feeling sea-sick even when the ferry was stationed
Fortunately the ride back wasn't that bad


The last time I went Macau was in 08?
It changed so much in a year
Some much new places and attractions

Didn't get to go any of them since I only arrived at 5ish

Looked for food once we are there
Wandered around and we found so much new stuff

We had our lunch near the quay
It was expensive and NOT GOOD at all
The famous pork bun came out all dry
I barely finish my share =(

We came out with this last min decision again of BBQ ing
Bought beer and food and headed over to R's place

Initial plans was to take the last ferry back to HK

Changed our plans to stay over instead although we came totally unprepared for overnight stay

It was only 12 when we decided we wanna get a hotel instead of crashing at R's place

Took a cab there
Checked in

But was too tire to walk around to get our photos taken

Checked out at 1 and head back to HK

I am serious when I meant I was on a shopping spree the last few days
Imagine the amount of clothes&shoes I have to lug home
Can only hope that my luggage will not be overweight

Although I have been here 10 days
I felt that its seriously not enough
Apart from shopping, I have not done anything else
There are still places I wanna go, things I wanna do, food I wanna eat

Have been out everyday
Except yesterday, was too tire to do anything
Sadly I have no photos at all

Left Canada on Friday morning
After a torturous 15 hour flight
Finally made it to HK on Saturday afternoon

With Steven before boarding


Had put on at least a KG thou I was here for a mere 3 days
3 meals a day is not helping my diet

Went shopping yesterday
3 tops, 2 bottoms & 2 flats

Meeting up with an old friend of mine
Who is working at Macau now
So freaked out, its the first time I see him in like what.. 2 years?!

Gonna go take a shower now
More shopping to go =)
